Diese Hollywoodveteranin mit den verrücktesten oder zumindest unleserlichsten Tweets von allen. Och Menno, das musste nun wirklich nicht sein.

Richard Adams ist tot. Eigentlich hatte ich ja schon seit längerem damit gerechnet, immerhin war der gute Mann 96. Aber musste es ausgerechnet jetzt sein, in diesem wie verhexten Jahr, in dem es schon so unwahrscheinlich häuft? Was erwartet uns denn noch in den restlichen drei Tagen? Und wie geht es dann weiter?
Richard Adams habe ich nicht nur, aber hauptsächlich für 'Watership Down' geliebt, ein Buch, das ich niemals aus meinem Regal nehmen würde. 'The Girl on a Swing' und 'Maia' gingen mir auch sehr nahe, so wie 'The Iron Wolf', 'The Plague Dogs' und 'Shardik', aber mein Lieblingsbuch wird immer die Saga von Hazel und seinen Gefährten bleiben.

wird der "L'Homme qui tire plus vite que son ombre" aka "Lonesome Cowboy" schon - ich kanns kaum glauben. Na dann:

Joyeux Anniversaire, cher Lucky Luke! And good ole Jolly Jumper natürlich auch. Und von mir aus auch die Daltons. Und Rantanplan - obwohl der meines Erachtens erst später zur Serie kam. Aber egal. Worauf es letztendlich hinausläuft ist, daß ich mir wohl in nächster Zeit wieder ein Heft reinziehen werde. Oder zwei. Oder drei.

Oh Mann, kann es jetzt mal langsam gut sein? Jetzt ist auch noch Leonard Cohen gestorben. Mit neueren Songs von ihm tat ich mich immer schwer (vielleicht ändert sich das jetzt), aber die Songs aus 'Various Positions' und 'I'm your Man' wie etliche Songs aus früheren Alben sind mir so präsent und nahe, dass ich sie mir kaum noch anzuhören brauche. Der Gedanke, dass es den lebenden Sänger und Dichter dahinter nicht mehr gibt, tut so weh.
