Irgendwie gehörte er immer zu den Menschen, um die ich mir nie Sorgen machte - zu stabil und vernünftig wirkte er immer. Keine Alkohol- und/oder Drogenexzesse in seinem Leben, keine Starallüren. Aber jetzt das, und auch noch an dem Tag, an dem die Schießerei in Las Vegas alles überschattet. Ein Montag wie er schwärzer nicht sein könnte. Ich kann es immer noch nicht begreifen.
Soviele seiner Songs haben sich mir schon seit so langem beinahe wie eingebrannt. Das die Musik bleibt, ist der einzige Trost - das es keine neue mehr geben wird, ist so bitter.
